AA TRIKES Warranty, Terms and Conditions

Scope of Coverage:

It explicitly covers the trike kit fitted to The Customers motorcycle and only the trike kit. This clarifies that the warranty is limited to the conversion components, not the entire motorcycle.

It specifically addresses defects resulting from faulty workmanship during installation by AATrikes.


Warranty Period:

The warranty period is 6 months after accepting and signing for the completed trike build. This establishes a clear start and end date for the warranty.


Exclusions:

1: Repairs to the host motorcycle are not covered unless prior agreed work is carried out by AATrikes. This shields AATrikes from responsibility for pre-existing or unrelated motorcycle issues and protects both the customer and AATrikes from any misunderstandings.


2: Any modifications to the motorcycle, such as added aftermarket components or altering the manufacturer's original specification or design, are not covered by this warranty and could cause a delay in installation and accrue extra labour costs.


3: All other trike kit warranty issues are covered by the individual trike kit manufacturer’s own warranty. This clearly states that AATrikes is only responsible for their workmanship, and the kit itself is subject to the manufacturer's warranty. This is very important.


AATrikes Responsibility:

AATrikes are responsible for their workmanship during the installation of the trike kit.

Manufacturer's Warranty:

Customers must be aware of and understand the terms of the trike kit manufacturer's warranty. AATrikes will provide customers with this information.

It is vital that the customer keeps all documentation relating to the trike kit, and the installation.


Faulty Workmanship:

The term "faulty workmanship" can be subjective. Clear documentation of the installation process and any potential issues is crucial. Detailed photographic and video documentation will be maintained throughout the entire trike build process.


Customer Responsibility:

The customers bike needs to be clean and in good running order with good shocks, tires, brakes, exhaust etc. before the motorcycle arrives at AATrikes

Customers should thoroughly inspect the completed trike build before signing and accepting it.

Customers are responsible for routine maintenance and care of their completed trike.

Customers should immediately report any suspected defects to AATrikes.
